class 11

Please post an entry in your blog: critique someone else’s music video project.

I wanted to talk about Richards video. His video was awesome, and we are all learning so much more about him! Who would have known he can dance the way that he does?? He did a great job, I would just make a few adjustments when it comes to the camera angles. He had some pretty crazy camera angles, but there were a few that made it hard to see him break dancing, and what not, so if possibly adjust those. Also, the ending was a little fuzzy. I would maybe like to see a visual of him either winning or losing the dance off, and kinda giving a easier break down of how it ended. But overall it was pretty cool!

class 10

We worked on apps for iphones using game salad, and I definitely did not enjoy that program. I felt really constricted with what I can change, and I felt it did not run smoothly. I had a lot of trouble getting my game to do what I was suppose to do, after I replaced the photos. Its safe to say I was pretty aggravated with it.

class 9

Please post an entry in your blog.  Find a site made mostly in flash and describe what you like about it.

As lame as it is, I caught interest in the Hollisterco.com website. When you go to look at the clothes, I like how you can scroll left and right, using a scroll bar on the bottom of the page. It allows you to take your time and scroll at your own pace.

class 8

Please post an entry in your blog.  Choose an object around your room or house that you think is particularly beautiful or well designed.  It doesn’t need to be useful.  Describe it.

Fire pit

It stands about three feet tall, two feet wide. Beautiful, smooth, grayish tan slates are stacked on one another, creating a circular shape towards the sky. A dark, empty hole sits in the middle filled with ash, waiting to be used to warm up the brisk night again.

class 7

  1. Please read the reading below.
  2. And please post an entry in your blog about it.

I agree about the internet being a place, that just continues to copy information over and over, and is an endless space to fill with anything desired by the makers at hand. It is amazing to me that pretty much everything you do online can be traced, because just because you delete something, doesn't mean it can't be traced ever again. The internet is pretty scary if you think about it that way. When you purchase something online, your private information is stored.... making it easy for others to steal and misuse it. A good question is, when will the copying end? When will out information be safe?

class 6

  1. Please post an entry in your blog. Respond to Benjamin’s concern about the fate or art in the age of mechanical reproduction. What happens to art when it is reproduced endlessly, what happens to a culture for whom the “sacred” in art vanishes?
I feel that the culture that surrounds the paintings created through out the ages, is seriously disappearing. Not as many people have the appreciation for the paintings as there should be. Paintings done today, are also not like they were made ways back. I feel as if everyone can be a "painter" because they created one piece, or what not. The appreciation level for painting needs to rise, before it really does vanish.

Class 5

Find a website that you love with multimedia, animations or some sort of immersive vivid media experience. write a paragraph on why you love it and link to it on your blog.

This blog/website has awesome illustrations an multiple pages. Everything is working together well (colors, type, illustrations) to make an overall mysterious/bad ass feel.

Class 4

Please post an entry in your blog which describes your favorite places to travel.

My favorite places to travel are places that are empty and abandoned. I like places that are opposite of where I live, which is a city setting, because it is nice to be in a serene, calm, and secluded environment.
